Producing Our Survey Reports
Our survey reports include:
- still images
- high definition video
- USB electronic copies
- GPS coordinates
Or reports can be tailored to suit whatever else you require.
But all of that relies entirely on our well experienced, professional photographers who have all sought permission to enter homes, offices and work places hundreds of times.
Our post-shoot work after a site ‘shoot’ will take two to three times longer than the site shoot itself. It involves:
- securing and editing the site images
- formatting the report to suit the project
- written comments on the images and other things
- checking client and project details
- ten-point quality checks at every part
- handing over to our commercial printer
- delivering the right number of the right reports, to the right person, at the right place, at the right time - every time.
Large infrastructure project reports resemble magazines. As they can be used as evidence at any time, they must be absolutely and reliably correct.
What we will provide
Some years ago we asked a barrister experienced in construction litigation to compare the merits of evidence based on technical writing, and evidence based on large, good quality coloured images. He said he preferred large, sharp and clear coloured images because of their immediate impact, even on people unfamiliar with lengthy technical argument.
We also asked the same question of some experienced construction people who stated a similar preference because such images show the topic immediately needing copious writing. In short, superior quality images with brief written descriptions provided clear evidence that was easy to accept and difficult to dispute.
While that may not be everyone’s preference, we changed our report format soon after to minimize written description and maximize large, sharp, clear images and have done so ever since.
Quality Always Wins
No matter on which side your interest lies, claimant’s or contractor’s, your dilapidation survey report images will be a significant part of your argument and their quality will be most important. Poorly lit, badly printed, unfocussed images have lost arguments so ensure you get best quality images.
If you become involved in an action over property damage your best help will be printed and electronic copies of a dilapidation report filled with sharp, clear, dated images that accurately show the condition of the disputed property before work started on or near it.
Distributing Our Survey Reports
We deliver wire-bound ‘hard’ copies and USB electronic copies of all our reports. The numbers vary depending on client needs.
We have worked in the ACT, NSW, QLD and VIC and are familiar with many different modes of delivery.
